Information Integrity Research Initiatives
Objective:
To establish I*I as a theoretical and applied discipline through research and stimulate the growth of I*I industry by encouraging I*I development and applications.
Our dependence on gathering, sorting, storing and disseminating information to make decisions, conduct transactions, and operate complex systems makes the world increasingly vulnerable to inaccurate, unreliable and inconsistent information. IIC seeks answers to such questions as: "How can we tell whether information is reliable?"; "What methods, protocols, and standards can we establish to ensure that information is correct?"; and “How can we certify the correctness of enterprise information?” It pursues answers to these and related questions through its Information Integrity research.
Progress to Date:
Conducted theoretical research with Center for Information Integrity Research (CIIR) in
Conducted applied research with Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF) for finance Professionals.
Future Plans:
Seek and obtain research funding from corporations, foundations and government.
