2008 EII Awards Program

The 2008 EII Awards Program has been launched by announcing that nominations are open for the annual Excellence in Information Integrity (EII) Awards that recognize organizations that strive to provide accurate, consistent and reliable information to their customers, suppliers and partners. You can nominate worthy for-profit and non-profit organizations at the EII Awards web site.

Co-sponsored by 36 organizations, the annual EII Awards program is open to any organization that has made demonstrable progress towards achieving Information Integrity - the accuracy, consistency and reliability of the information content, process and system.  Whether through a single project or an enterprise-wide effort, organizations that have made exceptional progress towards achieving Information Integrity deserve recognition for their efforts.

In 2008, the Awards will recognize two categories of organizations: For-Profit and Non-Profit. In each category there will be three award levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze.  All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of independent judges made up of advocates of Information Integrity. The judges will evaluate nominees for addressing their organization’s Information Integrity needs with demonstrable results and for using best practices on a sustained basis.  Independent scores and comments are reviewed collectively by the judges to determine the winners in each category.

The 2008 EII Awards winners will be honored at the annual Excellence in Information Integrity Awards Banquet on Monday, 20 October, 2008, at the Great Hall of Cafe Brauer in Chicago. For more information about the EII Awards program or to nominate a worthy organization, please visit  www.EIIAward.org. Nominations will be accepted until 31 July, 2008, with the application deadline of 15 August, 2008.
